Brief History

The diplomatic relations between the Republic of Kazakhstan and Canada were established on April 6, 1992, thus paving the way for steady and mutually beneficial bilateral ties in the political, economic and cultural spheres.

With a view to facilitate friendly relations and provide assistance in traveling and visa related issues the Consulate of the Republic of Kazakhstan began its work in Toronto in 1997 until the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan was opened in Ottawa in 2008.

In 2012, the year that marked the 20th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Kazakhstan and Canada, the Embassy of Kazakhstan to Canada moved to a new location at 150 Metcalfe Street, Suite 1603-1604, Ottawa, ON, K2P 1P1.

In 2013, the Embassy received accreditation to Jamaica, Republic of Cuba and the Dominican Republic.

More about travelling abroard

Are you the adventurous type? The kind who understands that life is over far too quickly and that there just isn't enough time to see everything you would like to? The world is a big place, and there are all sorts of fascinating places and people to see while you have the time to do it. The last thing that you need to do is waste time once you get to overseas locations worrying about details and items that didn't come up in the travel brochure, and that is what this site is for. You only get so much vacation time from your dentists in Kitchener Waterloo desk job, so don't waste what you do have.

Here, we will take a look at all things abroad. What do we mean by that? Well, we believe that there are many different opportunities for people to get out and see their world. Moreover, there is a wealth of information out there accumulated by other travelers, information that can really help cut down mistakes, frustration, and time wasted during a travel experience. We are going to bring you as many of these tips as we can, for locations all over the world.

But first, just when in someone's life is it appropriate to get out and see the world? Well, we think it is never too late or too early to start! Maybe it's a little easier for those who don't have a mortgage on their Hamilton Real Estate or kids to put through school. Let's take a look at some ideal travel times for anyone with a bit of wanderlust.

Obviously, the most popular choice for those looking to go abroad is the vacation. Time to take off work and get out of your Bradford real estate to see the sights the world has to offer, pole to pole and continent to continent. Maybe you have a passion for sailing and can test out that new keel design traveling south for the winter. The problem with vacation travel is that you have a very limited window in which to work; you can't afford to be sitting around in airports, waiting for your baggage to arrive, or be stuck in some foreign traffic jam. All this cuts into the amount of time you have to actually get out and see/do things! Travel tips can cut down on the down time and allow you to cram in all the adventure you want.

For the truly adventurous soul, there is no better time to go abroad than when you are pursuing a post-secondary education. Universities and colleges all over the world try to attract foreign students to their campuses every year, studying everything from the arts to creating formulas for making windows Whitby supplies for a more environmentally conscious planet. It is a great way to spend some time living abroad, as well as keeping yourself on track career wise, but every student could use a little bit of extra information. We will take a look at some ways to get the most not only out of living in a country for school but also for getting the most out of a foreign education, as well. Again, there are tips here that aren't included in school brochures!

Work certainly is not glamorous, but working abroad just might be. Deciding to go off and make a career in a different country means a huge departure from the life that you know; it is likely that not just you but your family has made a career in the same place for generations. You need to know where to look for work, how people in that country live, how to list your home for sale and what paperwork and so on you might need to fill out. If you're working with something like accounting software you'll need to find out if the country you're moving to works with a similar system or if you'll have to be retrained. We will guide you through the steps of obtaining work abroad in several countries. Many places actively search for foreign workers, it is just a matter of knowing who to connect with.

With new technologies opening up the world market every day, the business world is becoming more and more competitive. To stay on top of it all, a student or business professional needs all of the tools in his or her pocket that he can get. One of these key tools is the power of language fluency. English is fast becoming the leading language for international communication. One quick way to learn to speak English is to attend English as a Second Language courses within an English speaking country. Immersing oneself in an English culture while attending intensive classes is a smart and efficient way to learn a new language.

There are many people, in many different demographics, who are interested in actually moving to another country in order to live. Even if you're living in one of the best condos out there, sometimes you just need a change of scenery. Obviously, there will be some overlap in our work and live categories, because most people who want to live abroad will also have to find work in order to support themselves. There is a small percentage of people who choose to live abroad and who do not need to find work; retirees are among these. In fact, many more retirees are choosing to live abroad than at any other time in history. It is important to understand what your options are if you want to make your home in another country, not only in terms of housing but what you can expect legally and based on location. Living abroad can mean a lot of change and it is best to be prepared!

So, those are the main topics we will be taking a look at on this site. There are many reasons for a person to want to go abroad, and we try to cover them all. We will provide tips and information about several different countries in light of the various reasons a person might have for wanting to travel there.
